2.Marsaxlokk, Blue Grotto, and Qrendi Guided Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.1 · 547 reviews · 4 hours · from $45

Visit Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, and Qrendi on a four-hour Malta tour with hotel pickup, a guide, and an optional boat ride.

“Our guide Chantelle was amazing. Very friendly, funny and gave so much information. Very helpful! The driver (didn't quite catch his name) was also lovely. Had a lovely trip. Stopped at the Blue Grotto which was really windy but great to see. We only stopped for 10 minutes here but I'd rather have spent more time here, despite the wind, than in Qrendi. We spent ages here on a walking tour around the tiny town. We then only had about 1hr 20mins in Marsaxlokk which was just enough to get some food after spending too much time in a very long queue for 3 ladies toilets, only 2 of which…”

Review of Malta’s Blue Grotto and Marsaxlokk Sunday market tour, with boat costs, timing, transport tips, and honest advice on value.

“Too much waiting time to change the bus, the blue grotto is not included in the price (8€/person). There wasn't any market this day. We basically just went on a bus ride for 4 hours.”

Malta: Crazy Sofa Ride Experience

7.Crazy Sofa Ride Experience

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 53 reviews · 20 min · from $24

Ride Malta’s southern coast on a six-person crazy sofa boat, with sharp turns, big splashes, safety gear, and a 20-minute adrenaline hit.

“it was definitely a crazy boat ride and not for the faint hearted. A very bumpy ride when you get tossed on the air and can fall off if you don't hold onto the straps which takes a lot of strength, all your strength. We all came back with small cuts, flesh wounds on our hands which take a few days to heal because you have to hold on tight or you'll fall off and your hands rub on sofa boat. A little painful but I'm still glad I went. Older adults and young adults, we all had skin come off the side of our hands however, truth is I'm…”

Review of Malta’s Blue Grotto and Marsaxlokk tour from Valletta, with boat costs, market time, pickup tips, weather risks, and value advice.

“Four of us took this tour. We were picked up on time and proceeded to fill the bus around the island. Linda, our English guide, was very welcoming and accommodating. She lost no time in getting us to the important sites. We had plenty of time to look around, shop for souvenirs, take pictures or grab a snack. At the end of the tour, we asked to be dropped off near the Hypogeum instead of our hotel. This was no problem and we made it to our next tour with time to spare. A great experience! The only thing that needs attention is the volume of the microphone on the…”

Review Malta’s Hagar Qim, Limestone Heritage, Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto tour, with honest advice on timing, lunch, value and group size.

“The Hagar Qim temple is incredible. The artifacts in the museum were worth the time to visit. It was a shame we didn’t have the time to visit the second temple. The blue lagoon was interesting and well worth the additional cost. Lunch was very good and was the service.”
