Review of Malta’s Gozo day tour with Ggantija Temples, Citadella, Ta’ Pinu Basilica, ferry, guide, train ride, and practical tips.

“Our guide, Evelyn, was a very professional host under tricky circumstances. She had to juggle doing the commentary in both English and French, making sure everybody had a great time, and keeping to schedule - despite other tour groups getting in her way! We saw everything we wanted to see with plenty of time to explore the different locations. Grazzi, Evelyn!”

“The guide was great! she explained to us so well when we arrived at the temples. I wish we had more time at Blue Grotto. Only 30 mins is too little! We only took the boat ride and that was all! No tine for photos. Nothing.”

“The boat is a must, it is almost at the end of the trip, but it is so incredible. The megalithic stones were very interesting. Tip of you go during summer, bring an umbrella, the sun can be challenging.”

Review of a full-day Gozo tour with Ggantija Temples, salt pans, Dwejra Bay, Victoria, ferry travel, and practical tips.

“The day trip to Gozo was good fun. It was nice to get a little taste of the island and of you've never been, it is worth the trip. The tour in general is good - you get a good experience of all sorts of things - the views at Dwejra are great and I highly recommend paying the additional 5 euro for the bost ride, the caves are great and it is well worth it! Ġgantija Temples are really interesting and worth the visit too! Lunch in Victoria is later in the afternoon and then there's about an hour to wander around Victoria and see the citadel and basilica…”

Review of Gozo’s full-day tour from Malta, covering Ggantija Temples, Dwejra, salt pans, Victoria, ferry transport, and dinner.

“I would not recommend this tour. It was very chaotic. On arrival at the ferry crossing our guide left the bus and went into the terminal and those coming last off the bus did not know where she had gone. Other salesmen outside the terminal then tried to get us on other ferries. At each stop this was repeated with the guide striding away and people struggling to keep up and guessing where she had gone. The whole tour was chaotic with passengers asking each other what way to go. At gigante ( one of the main parts of the tour ) we had 10 minutes to explore before being…”

“Well, an 8-hour tour turned into an 11-hour test of patience so there is that! Picked up about 45 minutes late, followed by waiting in the ferry line about 45 minutes where nobody explained the situation or made sure our unmarked group was in the correct place. Ferry ride was fine and we found our bus easily. Ironically, we THEN received stickers to wear to identify out group. Anna was our guide and she was great but over time, even her patience wore thin. Sights were great but the lunch @2:30, late as well was wet cold meat, cold pasta, minimal salads fixings and bread that ran short. Free water…”

“The Hagar Qim temple is incredible. The artifacts in the museum were worth the time to visit. It was a shame we didn’t have the time to visit the second temple. The blue lagoon was interesting and well worth the additional cost. Lunch was very good and was the service.”
